**IMPORTANT** BOOK THIS LISTING IF YOU DON'T HAVE YOUR OWN FANS. There is a second listing for folks who will bring their own pair of fans with them . . . Try the beauty, grace, and creativity of silk veil fans with a modern twist.​ Dancing with fans originated in east Asia but has evolved across many forms and in many cultures, including as a prop in modern burlesque dance. These TWO sessions will introduce you to the basics of dancing with veil fans and how we integrate this with burlesque performance and narrative. When: 6pm - 7:30pm Where: Move Studios 27-45 Stockwell Pl, Glasgow G1 4HS What to wear/bring: water, comfortable exercise clothing you can move in. There's no need to bring heels unless moving in them is a goal of yours. If so we'd recommend a ballroom/salsa style heel with a suede bottom and split sole. Accessing the Studio: Please arrive on time or the door may be locked. When you arrive: There are toilets and a changing area but feel free to arrive fully ready for class.
