Showgirl Choreography!

Service Description

This 4 week course, will introduce you to the glitter and glam of the showgirl chorus line. Think feathers, glamour and glitz, high kicks and a high-beam smile! Part of each class will be dedicated to learning group choreography and learning to make some classic showgirl costume elements that will be debuted at a wonderfully supportive and inclusive local cabaret showcase. If you don't want to perform, that's ok! You can still learn the choreography and do the course. Due to the nature of showgirl style movement, this course will involve learning synchronised and choreographed movement with a focus on footwork, lines and legwork. If you are new to our classes, feel free to look at our Instagram (@glasgowschoolofburlesque) to see the kinds of things people do/wear etc. We are a friendly bunch so feel free to come in and just say hello! to anyone and ask questions. When: 6pm - 7:30pm Where: Move Studios 27-45 Stockwell Pl, Glasgow G1 4HS What to wear/bring: comfortable clothes you don't mind sweating in, low or mid-height dance heels. If you're keen to purchase dance heels we'd recommend a ballroom/salsa style heel with a suede bottom and split sole. Try Vinted! Accessing the Studio: Please arrive on time or the door may be locked. When you arrive: There are toilets and a changing area but feel free to arrive fully ready for class.
